I have spent the past 14 years exploring issues related to poverty and food insecurity, with a primary focus on gender dynamics in African urban food systems. I have managed several projects aimed at producing localized knowledge about these rapidly changing food systems and the changing environments, social identities, politics, and economies that shape them.
I am now setting out in a new direction to develop my project management skills. I drew on my project management experience in research and technical training in Project Management (including PMBOK and Agile PM) to pass the Project Management Professional Exam.
I have much to offer a variety of organizations as a Project Management Professional (PMP) with experience in communication, data collection and analysis, training and managing international teams, implementing technological innovations, and university level teaching and coaching.
